Most likely not, but we really wanted to use the pun. Johnny Lee Miller stars as New York based Sherlock Holmes in this fall’s newest incarnation of the world’s greatest detective (this side of Batman), Elementary. Doesn’t look horrible, but Steven Moffat’s Sherlock is just soooo good that it’s impossible not to make the comparison.
What do you think of this version so far?
I like Jonny Lee Miller’s Sherlock Holmes. He is quite similar to the Holmes of the original stories. Lucy Liu also makes a great Watson!

I liked ‘The Hounds of Baskerville’ in the second season. It was a great update to the classic novel. Mark Gatiss did a great job with his writing!
