2012 EMMY Nominations Revealed

The nominees for this year’s Emmy Awards were announced today. Not too many surprises (Good luck to comedy actors that aren’t on Modern Family). Nice to see some Sherlock love as Benedict Cumberbatch was nominated for best actor in a miniseries/movie. Also, in Outstanding Commercial, our Super Bowl fave with the dogs barking the Imperial March from The Empire Strikes Back makes an appearance!

An odd thing we’ve noticed this year is that failed shows or anthologies count as a mini-series or movie. American Horror Story and Missing both are in that category. Weird.
