Looks like Fox probably isn’t going to get around to making that new Daredevil film and retaining their rights to the character. Fingers crossed that Matt Murdock shows up in an upcoming Marvel film. Surely someone is going to sue the Avengers for wrecking New York.
However, proposed director Joe Carnahan released into the internet wilds his sizzle reel created to sell his vision for the rejected movie. Looks like he was going for an interesting grindhouse take on ol’ Hornhead. Could have been good.
Pretty cool, huh? Makes us wish for a Power Man/Iron Fist film set in the same era. But that would totally prevent Luke Cage from showing up in active duty in any current day Marvel movies.
That looks really cool. Too bad he won’t be able to direct it, but I’m glad it’s going to Marvel. Then they can tie him in with the other movies. Retro Iron Fist must happen!
