Video game trailers are easily the most deceptive type of trailer. Rarely does the trailer show actual game footage so it doesn’t really reflect how the game will turn out (Dead Island…) But, dadgum, these are some gorgeous trailers!

There Is One RED LIGHTS Trailer!

Yeah, Patrick Stewart has nothing to do with this movie, but RED LIGHTS does have a great cast with Sigourney Weaver, Robert De Niro and Cillian Murphy.

Psychologist Margaret Matheson (Weaver) and her assistant (Murphy) study paranormal activity, which leads them to investigate a world-renowned psychic who has resurfaced years after his toughest critic mysteriously passed away.

Tim Burton’s DARK SHADOWS Is More Beetlejuice Than Sleepy Hollow

If you were expecting a straight up gothic horror from the remake of television’s Dark Shadows, think again. Although the trailer starts off looking like Burton decided to play it straight, it turns into a vampire-fish-out-of-water, revenge, comedy love story. Confused? And There Came An AVENGERS Trailer Unlike Any Other

It’s weird to live in an age where we look forward to trailers for movies almost as much as the movies themselves. Who cares? It’s here! Finally, THE AVENGERS trailer has hit the web. From the bits shown, they appear to have the chemistry needed. Let’s hope that carries on in the full thing next year!

I will say the Twilight films have become a little better with each release so when She Geek wants to see Breaking Dawn, I will do it with not as much kicking and screaming. From what I understand (having not read the books myself) this last one should wind up being a doozy.

Dare You Stare Down The GHOST RIDER Again?

Despite a mediocre first movie, Nicolas Cage is back with all new directors for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. I really wanted to like the original if for no other reason than Ghost Rider is one of the most visually interesting comic book characters around. Looks like they’ve amped up the effects so at least the sequel has that going for it. I really could do without that last bit in the trailer though. Let’s see if directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank) can save the old flaming skull.

Especially Yvonne Strahovski. (Not that Sarah on Chuck is any deadlier than the rest; we just don’t know how to pronounce her last name.)
