Smaug Takes Flight on the Side of a 737

Peter Jackson, Warner Bros., and Air New Zealand unveiled the first full view of Smaug from The Hobbit trilogy. What better way to get a sense of scale of the giant dragon than to plaster him on the side of a Boeing 737 and send him flying from Aukland, NZ, to Los Angeles, CA?

It would have only been cooler had the rest of the plane been sky blue to camofaluge it in the air. Then again, that would have only worked in New Zealand and across the ocean. Once it got to L.A., the skies would be less Smaug and more smog.
