Whether or not you like the new look of the shelled shoguns, these posters are pretty cool and can be admired by either side of the argument.
Artist Old Red Jalopy must have really liked The Lego Movie because he’s reimagined all nine of this year’s Academy Award nominees for Best Picture as Lego films. Does it make them better? Worse? Who knows, but it sure makes them cuter! (via Yahoo UK)
Oh that Godzilla! Too shy to turn around and give us a peek at that gorgeous mug. We’ll have to assume that Godzilla and the city are not to scale in this image, but it does make for an impressive poster. (via Yahoo)
We really enjoy teaser posters that show off just a symbol representing the film, and this one for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is a nice one. It follows the theme of the previous two movies’ one-sheets with Katniss’ mockingjay pin engulfed in flames. It appears this time that the ‘jay is ready…
Who wants to see the new poster for Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Hope it’s you because…
Peter Jackson has graced the interwebs this weekend with the teaser poster for the upcoming The Desolation of Smaug. And in less than 24 hours we’ll be getting the teaser trailer. It’s a good day to be a Hobbit fan.
Here’s a little analogy for you: Iron Man is to Black Sabbath as Iron Man 3 is to Tom Petty. You’re smart, you’ll figure it out when you see the new Iron Man 3 poster below. Looks like Tony picked a fight with the wrong dudes this time.
Well, the new Man Of Steel poster sure does raise a bunch of questions. Why is Superman under arrest? Why would he let himself be bound by simple handcuffs? Where did his red underwear go?
A la The Dark Night Rises, Star Trek Into Darkness‘s first poster gives us a crumbling structure exposing a symbolic logo. However, there is a welcome lack of off-centered photoshopping. Wonder why Benedict Cumberbatch is going into the light though. Seems like it should be named “Out of Darkness” based on this poster.
I dunno, poster. We’ve seen some pretty terrifying films in our lifetimes. Did you see the Hulk Hogan sex tape making the rounds last month?
Think you saw all of the posters for The Dark Knight Rises this summer? Maybe you did see the ones they released, but what about these concepts that didn’t make the cut? Personally, we feel any of them is better than the horrible Photoshopped, up-angle tilty, flaming bat thing they put out. (via CHUD)
You may have seen the left and right sides of this full banner for Disney’s upcoming Oz: The Great and Powerful, but here is the full artwork featuring wicked witches, flying monkeys, pseudo-wizards, and sharp dressed sorceresses. Click the pic to magically enlarge it!
Yep. There it is. That’s a logo, title, and year alright. Really? Zombie apocalypse and this is what marketing comes up with?
Simple yet effective, the poster for next year’s The Wolverine is a very cool sketch of the titular bad-ass in a Japanese art style. No Hugh Jackman’s face, no names, no titles, but there’s also no doubt what the poster is advertising. What do you think of the image? (via Total Film)
Ok, we didn’t even know they were making another Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. Considering this one drops the “massacre”, maybe the story is actually a sequel to The Brave Little Toaster about a southern power tool on a journey across America to find the lumberjack that left him behind at a job. Checking out the poster,…
