Seems like the images of Ant-Man are getting ironically larger and larger as each new movie poster is released. The latest features our titular hero atop a winged ant flying through a hail of bullets. Really, who attempts to shoot ants? Just grab a shoe or can of Raid. Boom. Problem solved.
Yeah, the Jurassic World poster is basically a recolored version of the Jurassic Park poster, but when you have a logo as iconic as that, why mess with it?
The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Pat 1 is coming to spread rebellion across the Districts and these posters introduce us to the rebels who are up for the task! (via Vulture)
Whether or not you like the new look of the shelled shoguns, these posters are pretty cool and can be admired by either side of the argument.
Artist Old Red Jalopy must have really liked The Lego Movie because he’s reimagined all nine of this year’s Academy Award nominees for Best Picture as Lego films. Does it make them better? Worse? Who knows, but it sure makes them cuter! (via Yahoo UK)
Oh that Godzilla! Too shy to turn around and give us a peek at that gorgeous mug. We’ll have to assume that Godzilla and the city are not to scale in this image, but it does make for an impressive poster. (via Yahoo)
We really enjoy teaser posters that show off just a symbol representing the film, and this one for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is a nice one. Here’s a little analogy for you: Iron Man is to Black Sabbath as Iron Man 3 is to Tom Petty. You’re smart, you’ll figure it out when you see the new Iron Man 3 poster below. Looks like Tony picked a fight with the wrong dudes this time.
Well, the new Man Of Steel poster sure does raise a bunch of questions. Why is Superman under arrest? Why would he let himself be bound by simple handcuffs? Where did his red underwear go?
A la The Dark Night Rises, Star Trek Into Darkness‘s first poster gives us a crumbling structure exposing a symbolic logo. However, there is a welcome lack of off-centered photoshopping. Wonder why Benedict Cumberbatch is going into the light though. Seems like it should be named “Out of Darkness” based on this poster.
I dunno, poster. We’ve seen some pretty terrifying films in our lifetimes. Did you see the Hulk Hogan sex tape making the rounds last month?
Think you saw all of the posters for The Dark Knight Rises this summer? Maybe you did see the ones they released, but what about these concepts that didn’t make the cut? Personally, we feel any of them is better than the horrible Photoshopped, up-angle tilty, flaming bat thing they put out. (via CHUD)
