Costumed superheroes arepretty much a product of the 20th century, but what if they’d come about in the 1600s? Sure, Neil Gaiman may have thought of it first, but French photographer Sacha Goldberger has created a series of beautiful pictures of our favorite Marvel and DC characters, as well as some from Star Wars and other sci-fi, sitting for portraits in the style of the day.
