Are you ready for Michael Bay’s next attack on of your childhood? We’ve seen the first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and…it’s really not too bad! Granted we were never the biggest devotees of TMNT, so we aren’t as offended by the tweaks in the origin story.

He Geek She Geek 
It’s pretty amazing. On the one hand the original comic was dark, gritty and violent. On the other hand, popular culture has turned it into a fun, family-friendly laugh riot. So, it’s hard to know which way to go. This trailer has a good balance though.
I always liked the comic more than the cartoon. I wonder if they changed to origin to distance itself from the Marvel connection, or just because “genetics” is the new “radiation”
